Planet Base Tutorial

Today I played the tutorial for Planet base. It ran really nicely and smooth.

You start off by having 7 crew members and 2 robots, so with a team of 9 your first task is to build an oxygen converter and an airlock, following that you must build a water extractor and a source of power for it to run.

The tutorial was very straight forward and gave you little freedoms to place what you want where you want but it was what i was expecting from it. it gave you all the little tips and tricks like using (w,a,s,d) to move to the camera and (q,e) to rotate it. I found if you quickly follow the instruction of the tutorial you wont run into any trouble. some useful things to know is that most of the command buttons in the top right of the screen are assigned buttons on your keyboard so you don't have to fuss with the mouse to get what you want, like (+) and (-) buttons are zoom in and zoom out. Another useful button is TAB, it lets you see through the roof of the building so you can place or simply look at the well designed textures

After the first couple tasks the game becomes fast paced and exciting, well exciting for a sim anyway. I could easily see how in the full game it could become very challenging to keep everything good, from the resources to over population to enemy's and meteors this game has a lot of PvE action. while i think in the future you should be able to make soldiers and other things to attack your friends bases. This game is very well put together and deserves a 7/10
